Direct or Indirect Participations in Fake Elections
Have Legal Consequences.

London, 08th May 2026 A.D.
Even if, on the 5th of May, Ethiopia celebrated the 85th anniversary of her victory over fascism and colonialism, the country has been ruled by a succession of outlaw régimes over the past 52 years. This continuing situation has finally driven the people to rise up for another round of struggle so that, right now, the Ethiopian citizenry, organised as a citizen army, Fanno, are making great sacrifices to reassert their sovereignty through the dismantling of the outlaw F.D.R.E. régime and the establishment of a transitional government. 
In this particular context and on the eve of the May 2026 fake-elections organised by the outlaw F.D.R.E. régime, the Ethiopians' Citizen Democratic Union (E.C.D.U.), once again and hereby, notifies in the strongest terms:
1) Those Ethiopian citizens who would participate in the fake-elections, individually or as part of political parties, pretexting "popular suffrage" and, thereby extending the existence and the acts of devastation of the outlaw F.D.R.E. régime, they must know that, whenever a legitimate government is re-established, they will be indicted before the law courts for acts of high treason;
2) Those foreign governments, institutions and organisations that, pretexting to "promote democracy", subsidise the fake-elections and spread propaganda in their favour, should refrain from such activities as their acts will be seen, at best, as wasteful acts of political hooliganism, and, at worst, as conspiring against the existence of a sovereign country as well as damaging their long term interests in Ethiopia፨

Au moment où, le 5 mai, l'Éthiopie célèbre le 85ième anniversaire de sa victoire contre le fascisme et le colonialisme, le pays aura été sous le joug d'une succession de régimes hors-la-loi durant plus de 52 ans. Cette situation qui persiste toujours a finalement déterminé le peuple à se soulever pour un nouveau cycle de luttes, à tel point que, en ce moment, le peuple citoyen organisé en une armée citoyenne Fanno, paye un lourd sacrifice pour démanteler le régime hors-la-loi R.F.D.E. et établir un gouvernement de transition pour réaffirmer sa souveraineté. 
C'est dans ce contexte particulier et à la veille des simulacres d'élections organisées par le régime hors-la-loi R.F.D.E. au mois de mai 2026 que, encore une fois, l'Union Citoyenne Démocratique des Éthiopiens (U.C.D.E.) notifie dans les termes les plus fermes :
1) Les citoyens Éthiopiens qui participeraient, individuellement ou au sein d'organisations politiques, aux simulacres d'élections, prétendant vouloir obtenir le "mandat populaire" alors même qu'ils prolongent l'existence du régime hors-la-loi R.F.D.E. ainsi que ses actions dévastatrices, ces citoyens doivent savoir qu'ils seront traduits devant les tribunaux pour actes de haute trahison aussitôt qu'un gouvernement légitime est rétabli ;
2) Les gouvernements, institutions et organisations étrangers qui, prétextant la "promotion de la démocratie", offrent leurs subsides aux simulacres d'élections et propagent leurs propagandes en leurs faveurs, ils devraient cesser de telles activités qui, au mieux, sont des actes de vandalisme politique dispendieux, et, au pire, des actes portant atteinte à l'existence d'un État souverain ainsi qu'à leurs propres intérêts permanents en Éthiopie፨
